confession.

this is what i do during lily's nap time.

i send eva to play with toys upstairs in the loft for quiet time.

and then i take pictures of myself wearing a ridiculously large flowered headband that came with one of eva's dress up dresses that she got for christmas.

and then i spend time choosing just the right picture out of the many self portraits that i took of myself.

and then i spend time editing the picture.

and then i tell eva that "no, in fact, quiet time is not over yet! go back upstairs. mommy is very busy."

and then eva doesn't go upstairs and we take self portraits together. and then we take many more pictures of her in her snow white dress.

and then i have wasted more time than i'm willing to add up and admit right here on the blog. and all too soon lily is awake even though she took a 3 hour nap.

and the house is a mess. and dinner needs to be cooked. and laundry is in the washer and the dryer.

but all in all it has been a productive amount of time.

because now i have a picture to cherish for all time. and i get to share it with you.

(pictures of snow white to come soon. and thankfully that will just be pictures of eva in the snow white dress. i have not attempted to try it on. and i won't...)
