can you guess where shaun will be taking a church soon?
you'll never guess.
still need more clues???
haven't figured it out yet??? (one more hint here!)
okay fine, i'll tell you already!
MADISON, WISCONSIN!!!!
and we are just a LITTLE BIT excited.
shaun and i have visited madison twice now and have fallen in love with the people of lake trails church. and madison is a pretty awesome city as well. the Lord has already connected our hearts to the people of lake trails and given us a love and desire for them. we can't wait to serve there with them.
we will greatly miss new covenant church here in aiken. it has been such a blessing to us the past three years. we love the people and have felt loved in incredible ways. we continue to feel blessed by new covenant as they support and encourage us and pray for us as we prepare for this new call from the Lord.
so that's it in a nutshell. by the way if you are looking to buy a house there is a great one for sale right here in aiken!
oh, and NEWSFLASH: word on the street is that it's cold madison in the winter. at least that is what 99.9064535% of the people here in aiken, sc have told us. but people here cherish warmish winters. we are excited for some snow! and yes, i know we will get tired of it.
yay! congrats!!! i love all these pictures, but I hope your true alliance will remain in a different shade of red, with the sooners. :)
ReplyDeletecan madison be my summer & winter home? I love snow and hate hot temperatures, so those are two seasons I would like to live in wisconsin.
Wow! You're a fast blogger and you guys have more Badger apparel than we do. LOL :) We're looking forward to meeting the whole family! Miri's been regularly checking on Eva's pictures with me; she can't wait to have a new friend. I meant to comment a couple of days ago (but I couldn't remember how to sign into my Google account)--your Haikus were funny and it looks like you don't like flying. ;) Eva's new pics are beautiful, too. We're praying that everything goes smoothly and quickly for selling your home.
ReplyDeleteWow-thought we kept you too busy to shop! Love the new attire. I think you guys were meant for Madison!
ReplyDeleteGREAT Wisconsin montage - seriously! :-) Thought I would add a little music. U-RAH! Looking forward to seeing you guys.

ReplyDeleteMadison is a lovely town. Beautiful lakes and trees and yes, lots of snow in winter. (But they have the Lands End outlet for getting down coats, for cheap!)
ReplyDeleteVery excited for you! (My parents met at UW-Madison back in 1969).
Good luck with your packing up and driving out there! I'll follow your progress on the blog!
