HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY SWEET CLAIRE!

my sweet baby claire, only 2 hours old. 

sweet baby claire, one year old. 

one year stats:

• weighs 18 lb 10 oz
• 29 in long
• still about the same amount of hair as when she was born (definitely the baldest of the three girls)
• thankfully has gotten cuter over the last 12 months, thankfully!
• has taken her first steps about 2 weeks ago, but still a full time crawler
• nurses around 6 times a day still
• eats anything and everything (3 meals a day)
• has never really been spoon fed. wants to do it all on her own
• goes to bed at 6:45 p.m. and gets up around 6:15 a.m. (wakes up about once a night to nurse)
• takes 2 naps a day (not a great napper)
• pretty much always happy no matter how much or little sleep she has gotten
• loves her daddy (although prefers mommy slightly more)
• words claire says/tries to say: dada, mama, thank you, kitty cat, hi, no 
• loves her sisters
• very feisty, doesn't like when eva or lily try to keep her from doing anything. claire will scream at them while swinging her arms at them. 
• doesn't like getting dressed or having her diaper changed
• loves taking a bath
• can be pretty wild and always on the go and moving
• rides pretty well in the car and even falls asleep in the carseat, which her sisters never did
• very lovey, likes to snuggle with mommy or daddy and leans her head and face into our faces for kisses and holds on to us tightly
• not to wary of strangers and doesn't cry around new people
• she is a very sweet, laid back, and easy going girl
• we love this girl and she is a true JOY to our family!
