10 months

i keep saying that the first 3-4 months of a baby's life feels like about 10 years to parents. But after the six month mark time really flies by.

how is this sweet little girl already 10 months old? it is bitter sweet since she is our last. i love her snuggles, her sweet disposition, how laid back she is. she really is very easy going and such a joy to our family. she is well loved by her sisters (mostly) and loves to give love back. she especially loves her mommy and daddy. there is nothing sweeter than to watch her when she sees shaun and then quietly says "dada" with a big smile on her face. and then she starts kicking her legs in excitement. i just love her!

here are some claire stats at 10 months:

• still only has 2 teeth
• still only has 2 bits of hair
• probably weighs around 18 lbs
• a bit taller than last month
• wears 12 month size clothes
• loves to eat everything and eats only table foods
• doesn't like to be fed by anyone else
• says mama, dada, tries to say kitty
• pulls up to standing
• cruising around while holding on to things
• likes stand up while balancing with one hand

things that make claire happy:

• chewing on electrical cords
• pulling the cat's tail
• trying to break through the baby gate at the top of the stairs
• taking a bath
• following her sisters around
• putting everything possible in her mouth
• nursing several times a night
• her momma

things that make claire unhappy:

• getting dressed
• diaper changes
• getting elbowed in the face by lily (twice)
• falling on her face because of lily
• getting her fingers pinched in the kitchen drawer
• taking naps
• spiders that bite her hand when she's trying to eat them
