so we have moved. again. it's just what we do. we are still in the fantastic city of madison, wi. and we still LOVE it here.
a few months ago our dear friends, stephen and karen, pictured below, (aren't they cute?) asked if we would like to rent their house because they were moving out of state (insert sad faces and crying here).
these are lily's most favorite people in the entire world. when i ask "lily, who do you love the most?" expecting her to naturally say "mommy!" instead she says "KAREN!!"
so when it came to the idea of moving into their house we thought about it and thought about it some more and decided, why not!
actually we really had to think about it because this adorable little house has NO CLOSETS. no coat closet, no linen closet, no bedroom closets (except one bedroom where a closet was added at some point), no pantry, no bathroom closet, no hall closet, etc. you get the idea. and this house is much smaller than our last place. the bedrooms are...cozy. but it is such a cute place and we are so very grateful to stephen and karen for allowing us to live here and take care of their little place. we have painted and gotten creative with our space and our things. thankfully it has a finished basement with some good storage space. it also has what we are calling a sunroom and a one car garage.
we have also gotten creative with some pieces of furniture. for example our t.v. armoire became a pantry, a book shelf i love became a place for our plates and mugs, etc. soon i will do an "organization" post on how we are living in our new space.
the links below are interactive panoramic pictures that i took with my iphone. hopefully you will get an idea of what our new place looks like! we really love it!
