in light of last weeks post and to continue to keep things honest here i am going to start a weekly blog post on thursday's entitled:


someone should have said something thursday.

each week will feature a rare and priceless gem.  so buckle your belts, adjust your suspenders, flip up your collars, put on your thick rim glasses, get your zit cream out, apply generous amounts of hairspray, dust off that stone washed denim, squeeze into that fuschia dress, and tighten your skinny necktie. it's about to get ugly and someone should have said something.


this week for your viewing pleasure:

this is me and my dear friend travis. i have known him my entire life and he is pretty much my brother. this is our first day of 5th grade. travis looks so cool and laid back (although to be fair, i'm pretty sure his mullet is permed, yes face it travis, you had a mullet).

and then there is me. again, extremely painful to look at. i had my hair pulled back in a pony tail and i believe i had a perm as well. i am also wearing new school clothes.

and heaven help me if i don't look like the picture below this one. although i had the look first. not sure if that makes things better or worse.
