it was pretty bad

sixth grade wasn't my cutest year.

in fact from here it only got worse for a few years.  although i am particularly fond of the shadow pic of my bangs. you can't beat that.  i am hoping to spare my girls from such hideousness for themselves.
see, nothing good can come of "free time" when my girls are napping and i am looking through old pictures. more to come...another day.

  2. Oh, Danielle. Amazing. I don't even know what to say. It's almost unbelievable. I must show Parker when he gets home. ;)

  3. Do you remember when you used to roll half your bangs up and half down and then hairspray until solid?:) I was so jealous my hair wouldn't do that!LOL!!

  4. Wow.

This hair style is so phenomenal that it almost causes one to miss appreciating the amazing shirt you are wearing!

I must also note that I really admire the photographer's attempt to capture the key angles of the bangs. Since they can't fully be appreciated from one single view, s/he made sure to include multiple angles in one shot - thus the shadow view. Incredible!

You know.....I remember being so mad that my Mom wouldn't let me style my hair like that "like everyone else was doing!!!!" but I'm now going to have to write my Mom a note and tell her that I am forever indebted to her for not allowing me to join in on this.....um.....fashion trend?! :)

Thank you once again for the laughs, Danielle! ....And for reminding me why it is dangerous to follow trends in fashion. :) Hopefully this will be a good lesson for our girls as well! Unless (gasp!) this style comes back around in about 7-10 years!!!
