today it became official

when you take a cold but cute little soccer player...

and an awesome red minivan (you know, the one that brought sexy back?)...

that's right folks, it's official. i m a soccer mom. i drove eva to her first soccer game today, in a red minivan.

it was freaking cold out: 43 degrees and raining. eva was a trooper and ran herself all over that field. as far as soccer skills go, well eva sure can run!  and she thinks she's something when she does her only signature move (pictured above) where she puts her foot on top of the soccer ball (and then someone from the other team quickly comes and kicks it from under her).

and she got to kick the ball in a few times! she has plenty of room to grow. :)
