We celebrated the day starting with presents and making cupcakes. And staying home from church since Eva is still sick. Shaun of course went to church.
I believe of all the presents Lily got the bubble gum was her favorite. It is the one thing she kept talking about. And soon she had a mouthful. And then from the mouth to the tummy.
Then she kindly did a few poses for me. She likes to put her hand on her hip and say "I'm so fancy!" Recently she told me that's what big girls say.
We ended the evening by decorating her cupcakes with Hello Kitty candy and flags. I failed as a mother and didn't have any candles for Lily to blow out. She said that's okay, you guys can just sing "Happy Birthday!" Love that little girl.
I think it was a pretty decent birthday. All except for that 45 minute time span where Lily ushered in her "three's" with one long screaming fit.
Happy Birthday Lily! We love you so very much. You truly are a joy!
