a very happy moe's-ther's day

shaun had a glorious plan for mother's day. it involved a sweet card that the girls gave me first thing and then we were going to a surprise destination after lily's afternoon nap.

and then lily got sick.

plan b was to go for the surprise destination on monday afternoon. this was an awesome surprise because shaun took me to a place to eat that we frequented at least 2 times a week when we lived in aiken, s.c.

i was very excited to reach my surprise destination.

yes, that's right we drove 63 miles outside of modern madison wisconsin to eat at moe's southwest grill. it's not that moe's necessarily has the greatest food ever, but we went there all the time in aiken and we have missed it for the past 8 months.

i enjoyed a yummy burrito, lots of chips & queso, and green salsa. it was glorious.

and then we topped off moe's with a mocha from starbucks. perfect.

after moe's and starbucks shaun surprised me one more time and stopped at an outlet mall on the way home for a little shopping trip at the gap outlet.

momma was happy, so everyone was happy.
