ruby is her name.

i have had my camera for several months now. we are still getting to know each other. but i know she will be one of my best friends. she needed a name. i have thought on this for a while. but today her name came to me, no bright lights or angels singing, or rainbows or anything crazy. it just happened and it fit.

my uncle stephen has always loved the name ruby and wanted me to name one of my daughters ruby. we actually considered this. we really like uncle stephen, almost enough for him to pick one of our child's names. but i think it's a perfect fit for my beloved camera. i think she fits her name rather well. and i like that uncle stephen, a man who i love and respect very much, will approve.
