one month old

i can't believe it has been a month already! lily has transitioned into the family very smoothly. we all adore her, especially eva who is always saying how cute lily is and wants to give her hugs and kisses. here are some stats on lily from month one:

• at birth she weighed 7lbs 9 oz and she now weighs about 9 1/2 lbs.
  
• at birth she was 20 1/2 inches and she is now almost 22 inches.
• she is sleeping pretty well at night. lately she has been going to bed around 10:00 p.m. and sleeps for about 4 or 5 hours and then eats and then sleeps another 3 or 4.
  
• she was sleeping next to me and we finally got her sleeping in her bassinet next to the bed.
• she smiles quite a bit, especially when she is on her changing table, for some reason.
• she is in the midst of her first cold. quite a yucky sounding cough!
• her baby acne is clearing and i'm waiting for her hair to fall out on the top of her head.
• she likes to be held upright, definitely not laying on her back. and she just likes to be held a lot.
• so far she does not like the swing, bouncy chair, reclining high chair, playmat, or carseat. go figure.

that's all i can think of for now.
