christmas, home repair, etc.

christmas was good, and quiet - just the three of us! we got up, watched eva open presents, ate a wonderful meal that included honey baked ham (yummy!) and then went to see a movie. we celebrated christmas with gramps and gramma the week before when they came down and brought eva all kinds of good christmas and birthday gifts (and us too!).

our christmas weekend was very productive. shaun is becoming quite the bob vila, well almost. we are working on our front bathroom and it will soon be ready to paint after not too many mishaps. after all, what's a little extra drywall and the occasional jolt of electricity? these kinds of things build character in a man, that's what i say! they also cause a man to check the outlet first and get really good dry wall instructions the first time around. shaun has also done an awesome job with our playroom closet, it now has a lot of shelves. and also eva's closet has been redone and painted, ready for lily's stuff too! shaun also painted a bed for eva and got it put together. i am so proud of all that he has done around the house. when the bathroom gets more work done i will post pictures. until then, here are some random pics from christmas and the house:
p.s. if you will notice shaun's t-shirt in the first picture, if you haven't seen the video for a song called "the renewed mind is the key" you MUST. it is painfully awkward and hilarious. i had a t-shirt made for shaun for christmas with the group's picture on it.
