recently i believe eva has "accomplished" three milestones of sorts:
1. we are potty training, which is going okay, i guess. but going poop in the potty seems to be an issue. but on saturday, she did it! we sent shaun a text message for that one. poop in the potty also equals 2 treats (m & m's). by the way, she hasn't pooped in the potty since. oh well, it's a start.
2. eva colored her first walls. i was sitting in the kitchen, on the computer of course, and was unaware until eva said "look mommy, i'm coloring on the wall!". i put an immediate stop to it and tried to make it sound like it's an atrocious thing to do and then of course texted shaun again to let him know of this next milestone.
3. eva used the word "hate" for the first time. just out of nowhere she told me she hates her kit-kat (her favorite stuffed cat that she sleeps with). i was kind of shocked to hear her say that and then once again i attempted to make it sound like it's an atrocious thing to say hate. i didn't text shaun, just waited for him to come home.
I hope you guys have an unlimited texting plan.

Ouch! The hate one had to hurt. But I can beat it. Olyvia figured out that saying "I don't love you" really gets her a lot of attention.

ReplyDeletetim really disappointed me. I always look forward to his comments and he wasn't even funny! I suppose that he needs to be serious sometimes. I am sure that Olyvia's loves you and Jamie.
Precious pictures Danielle, you are trying to think of a way to get me there aren't you? They sure make me homesick to see you guys. Everyone, Danielle tried to get me to fly her here to OKC while Eva is at her Grandma and Grandpas in North Carolina. I don't think so!!! She can't come without Eva.
