some house pics

so it's kind of a pain to take pictures of the inside of the house. you can't really get the full effect of a room or what it really looks like. maybe i need some kind of special camera lens or something, i don't know. anyway, here are some pictures. i didn't take pictures of the bedrooms because it's too close to really see anything. just come for a visit and then you can really see! we still have lots of work to do: yard, put up a fence, take down the lovely sunflower/butterfly border in kitchen, new garage doors, paint all rooms something other than psych-ward white, new blinds, and the list goes on. but isn't that how it always is when you own a house? anyway, we are totally loving the house and all the light that flows in, and working in the yard, etc. come visit us, we have your room ready!!!!

the deck in the backyard, and the giant shed that will be gone soon i hope.

kitchen & moveable island

part of backyard and creepy shed where creatures live

looooong hallway where eva likes me to chase her. eva's room is at the end straight ahead. front door is to the right where rug is and living room is to the left of rug.

kitchen from the other side. playroom is doorway on the left of picture, straight ahead is laundry, to the right of that is door to garage and to the right of that is door to outside.

another kitchen view & awesome new fridge!

  2. How funny! That is exactly the same sunflower border the previous owner of our house put all around the back hall. Home Depot must've had a sale on sunflowers a couple years ago.

  6. Gorgeous house! Congratulations!

What you need is a good wide angled lens. It will cost you a small fortune (probably a minimum of $600), and will mean that you’ll have to hold off on a few housing updates and possibly Eva’s dinner for a couple of months, but oh, it will be so worth it! : )

  7. If you can somehow relocate that to Manhattan, you'll be an instant billionaire!
