happy easter
happy easter! we enjoyed a nice sunday at church, i had nursery duty, translated to "i got barfed on in my sunday best" and then after church we had lunch at applebee's. not that great of a lunch, i was really wanting ham and hashbrown casserole, crescent rolls, mandarine orange salad, corn, iced tea (sound familiar mom?). anyway, easter is not about barf on my dress, or the lack of ham and hashbrown casserole, it's about jesus and celebrating the fact that he died and rose again. i will work on focusing on that. now, on to the easter bunny. eva will be opening her easter basket after her nap. thank you to nanny and mimi for all the goodies that overflow eva's easter basket. i know she will enjoy them! we didn't buy her a single thing and she already has more than enough. hope everyone enjoys their ham and their hashbrown casserole and is humbled by christ's deep, never ending love for us (now that's a combination of a sentence!).

ReplyDeleteI am right there with you as I got barfed on and was pretty cranky about putting our snow boots on with our easter sundress and eating lamb instead of ham...... It was good, though. Isn't it funny how we get stuck in what our families did growing up. You all look great! We think of you often.
