visit to the "papal lodge"

we had the privilege to visit our dear friends from seminary toby, jennifer, and daniel pope last weekend in their awesome house (log cabin!) near blairsville, ga. the lord has truly blessed our friends with the opportunity to rent this place from a family in their church. i did find it amusing how jennifer humbly described it as “a little house, kind of like a cabin.” she did not do the inside justice with her humble description, so i told her i thought i should take some pictures for the blog so our friends could see the real truth! the view is beautiful, they have a nice open living/dining/kitchen, big basement for a playroom, and a big wrap around porch with hammock, and disappointingly a “hot tub” as they call it, that does not work. i was able to look past this “minor detail” and still enjoy my visit with the pope’s. we had an amazing time just visiting going on a walk by a beautiful lake, going to the park, and out to dinner. thank you guys for a wonderful time!
