myrtle beach
we took eva for her first trip to the beach last weekend. we met gramps, gramma, and Ian and stayed the night with them in their camper. it was a very short trip but we were glad to see family and we had a nice time. eva really liked the water the first evening we walked down to the beach. she wasn't such a big fan of it the next day. i think she wasn't feeling well and she was beyond tired after a week of vbs and getting to bed late the night before. we ended up staying at the beach for about 10 minutes before deciding to head home. yet another attempt at a fun time foiled by eva and her unpredictable temperament. but not to worry, we shall return to the beach and conquer it! how awesome is it that we only live 2 or 3 hours from the beach!

is it bad that i laugh when i see pictures of eva crying (like in the second to last picture)? i can't quit smiling....what does that say about me? i feel so heartless! thanks, danielle.

Isn't it great to be on the east coast and be within a day's trip of the beach?! Eat your heart out St. Louis! :) Just kidding!
ReplyDeleteWe are, of course, big fans of the east coast, and especially the southern beaches! Next time we head down there, we'll have to meet up with you for a day!
By the way, I'm sure Eva will like it more and more each time she goes!
I can't quite see Eva's bathing suit but it looks really cute! You all look great!

GLad you guys had some fun! Hopefully Eva will learn to love the ocean...but can you blame her..it is a lot of water and those waves look huge!
