first pigtails

the first pigtails weren't worn for long; eva managed to sabotage that pretty quickly. the back of her hair isn't quite long enough to go up in the pigtails yet.

so while i'm at it, here's a quick update on eva:

• she is almost 14 months old! wow, time flies when you're having fun(?)!
• she still isn't walking yet. i still think it will be some time. she hasn't found the courage to "let go" and give it a try on her own yet.
• she has 4 teeth, and a possible molar starting to peek through.
• she is 32 inches tall, and weighs around 22lbs, i think.
• her list of vocabulary words include: wow, yeah, hi, no (or often pronounced "doh"), and a pretty good attempt at saying "here ya go". very cute. also, her other new phrase is "mother, you look absolutely gorgeous today, how do you do it!" not only is she a genius, but she's got a good eye.
