fun surprises in the mail

so my neighbor, missy, and i were just talking the other day about how we love surprises in the mail and the ups truck is always delivering something to our other neighbors and not us. well, missy, i got a surprise in the mail the next day! what a fun surprise from our good family friends darlene and john bauman. darlene sent me a beautiful pumpkin dish and i just LOVE IT! and then she sent eva all kinds of treats and books. it was so much fun and eva really loved it too. thank you dar & john for being so thoughtful. hope everyone enjoys the pics of my new pumpkin (and be sure to check out the bauman's website for a look at their beautiful work) and the pics of eva enjoying her presents.

i have also included two fun pictures. the first is of darlene holding me as a baby and the next one is when shaun and i saw dar & john in september at the clayton art festival. i just had to get a picture of darlene holding eva. i must say darlene looks amazing 28 years later!
